Single player games are becoming rarer by the day, with most developers now offering distinctly different solo and multiplayer experiences in their games. One of the popular exceptions to this rule has always been the PlayStation exclusive God of War series. Now though, according to Gamespot , Sony may just be looking into taking Kratos into the multiplayer realm as well. The latest entry in the series, the PS3’s God of War III, was slated to be the finale in the series, although it did leave the possibility of a sequel. And when you have successful PSP games and such a huge fanbase, a multiplayer God of War 4 may be just around the corner. Related Articles Ford experiments with four-legged robots to scout

While some companies play it safe with big franchises, Capcom likes to experiment when it comes to its premiere horror series Resident Evil. Part of this experimentation has seen Capcom attempt to create an engaging online multiplayer-focused Resident Evil game, but so far, the company has had little success, with promising games like Operation Raccoon City and Umbrella Corps failing to hit the mark. Even back in the days of the PS2, when online gaming wasn’t nearly as commonplace as it is now, Capcom was trying to create a successful online multiplayer Resident Evil game.
In my opinion, Capcom accomplished its goal with the Resident Evil: Outbreak , which allowed players to connect with each other online to battle the undead and survive the horrors of Raccoon City. Capcom’s idea for Resident Evil: Outbreak and its sequel was right on the money, but the games released at the wrong time. Had the Outbreak games launched during the seventh generation or later, I’m confident that they would have been more popular, as online console gaming became much more prevalent with the introduction of PS3 and Xbox

Remember Me. This means you can pull all your friends together in a group before you start a game. It’s pretty standard practice. Even if you don’t play games like these, you only have to think about them for about four seconds before you come up with the idea yourself. So, anecdote: My friend Jim and I squadded up to get some sweet sweet headshots yeah bro together, only to find that once Jim started up a game, I got kicked out because the game was already full.
Despite that fact that Jim and I were clearly squadmates the game’s nomenclature , he was still put into a game that only had one open slot. We tried it again – I started the ‘squad’ this time – and it happened again; Jim was left alone, screaming for me to come back he’s a screamer.

Wot I Think: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
The game will start off in the underground laboratory where you try to take the G-Virus from Dr. William Birkin which fans of RE2 will recognize. Why was your team asked to tackle the assignment? Where did they come from? Did Slant Six forget to add in an extra cutscene that describes what happens after you make your choice?
Patches for Capcom games Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Street Fighter x Tekken are now Matchmaking from invites improved.
Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has received a patch, one that addresses issues with the game’s online matchmaking system and AI, as well as various other fixes, according to a post at Capcom Unity. The post didn’t elaborate on how exactly the matchmaking system has been changed, just that “matchmaking from invites” has been improved, as have ally and enemy AI behaviors.
More fundamental gameplay changes have also been made: Players can now pick up items while dashing and take cover immediately after a dive, for instance, and “various elements of weaponry, including ammo count, knockdown distance, weapon respawn times” have been changed in undisclosed ways. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City Gets a Much Needed Patch
Zombies are awesome. As such you would assume that a game like Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City would be a zombie apocalypse wet dream for me, and thankfully it is. Resident Evil II saw Leon and Claire, basically due to their own ineptitude and sense of what is right, trapped in Raccoon city with a population of zombies. On their mini-break from the hub-bub of the working week they happen upon a slew of characters including Sherry.
Sherry is a little brat with a whiny voice that grates my very soul, her father has created for the underground Umbrella Corporation a bio-weapon called the G-Virus. Through the course of Resident Evil II you find out that Sherry is on the search for her father but it turns out a secret ops team were sent by Umbrella Corporation to find him and take away the G-Virus, enter The Wolf Pack stage left.
Not only was Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City a horrible game, its boss I also encountered long game matchmaking and lag that leaves you an easy.
In most video games, you are treated with a final battle, a final encounter that will conclude the journey you’ve invested hours in. A lot can be quite epic that leaves you goosebumps after your done, but a lot can make you go “That’s it?! That’s what this Pick 5 is all about this week. Final boss battles that were simply disappointing. You’ve been warned, but if you don’t give a damn, by all means..
I had a great time with Halo 4. It had its high and lows, but one thing that made me shake my head was towards the end of the game. After a good build up for an antagonist to really push Master Chief past his limits, he literally falls short in making him or you any challenge. With the help of Cortana for one last time, you do a very easy, and very quick Quick Time Event to take him down. That’s it. I wanted a full-blown battle against the Didact, but I guess it was too much to ask.
Sure, Halo 3 had nothing at the end, just a race to the Forward Unto Dawn then credits start rolling, but Industries created a worthy Antagonist that deserved a good battle.

This brings us to Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City or ORC, and I actual friends to play with, because matchmaking (even for campaign.
Things of course do not go smoothly, and the team is then directed to cover-up any trace of Umbrella activity. There are some real negatives to the game, so I want to at least point out what I really liked about the game. First things first: the game is pretty fun. I played the campaign both alone and in co-op mode, and the initial run took me about five hours total. When playing the game, you have a chance to be infected by Zombies, and you must either find an anti-virus vial, or be put down by your teammates.
There are six to choose from, and each specializes in different areas. Multiplayer is great as well. There are a few different modes to get into, and experience can be earned in each one. I believe the campaign will give you more experience, but multiplayer does dish out a good amount depending on how you play. Team deathmatch is a common mode for games, and RE:ORC is no different—except for the many zombies that appear in the mode, but the game also has different multiplayer modes.

Trusted Reviews Live Prices. Say what you like about Capcom, it has never been one to under-exploit a successful franchise, and when that franchise is Resident Evil that goes double. As a result, you might have expected the team to ace the blasting and the multiplayer mechanics, but blow it when it comes to making the game feel like a Resident Evil title. Surprisingly, the opposite is true.
Instead of playing one of the ditchwater dull STARS operatives, as you do in almost every other Resident Evil, you take the part of one of four members of Wolfpack, a group of black-ops specialists working for the fiendish Umbrella Corporation, and charged with tidying up loose ends as the T-Virus runs amok in Raccoon City. Wolfpack are an interesting bunch as well, with specialists in stealth, demolition, healing, science, assault and marksmanship, all of whom have some special ability they can bring to the fray.
Vector, for example, can temporarily cloak, giving you the chance to sneak behind enemies and hit them from behind. Belway, meanwhile, has a range of high-explosive weapons at his disposal.

About thirty years ago, its founder discovered a tarnished golden lamp somewhere in Osaka, and rubbing it produced a genie. And in Japanese, obviously. You shall bring the world quirky goodness like Dead Rising, and the whimsy of Phoenix Wright. There is a catch! To maintain balance, you must sacrifice this hard-earned goodwill on a regular basis, from placing your DLC upon pressed silver disks against all logic, to using Games For Windows Live for your networking. This is a pure cover-shooter where some of the enemies have tentacles, but most are simply generic zombies or Spec Ops soldiers.
Frustration on the other hand abounds, especially if you try to play on your own. Put simply, there are two ways to play this game — with three other people in multiplayer, or screaming and smashing your controller of choice into tiny fragments of hate-infused dust. Avoid the single-player. Not only is it a tenth as good as the already not great multiplayer, it verges on unplayable at points. Making this worse, the design is often sloppy, and sometimes just plain cruel.
Guns hold ridiculously little ammo for instance, especially for the number of bullets it takes to drop enemies, and many encounters feel like they needed at least one more pass before being signed off. The core logic of the situation is fine. At one point for instance you have to fight Nemesis, and the whole encounter feels completely untuned.
